For nearly three decades, Kingdom Care Childcare has been a place where children learn,
grow, and thrive. What began as a small home-based program has evolved into a dynamic
after-school academy serving the Bowie community and beyond.
As of October 2024, our organization is now officially recognized as
Kingdom Care Academy R.E.S.T.S., Inc.
a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Educational Organizationdedicated to Restoration, Empowerment, Service, and Transformation through Support.
Our new name reflects not a change in heart, but a deeper commitment to the mission that has guided us from the start.
Families can expect the same nurturing, faith-filled, high-quality care you’ve always known
— now strengthened by new opportunities, resources, and partnerships.
As a nonprofit, Kingdom Care Academy R.E.S.T.S. can:
Expand after-school enrichment programs in STEM, literacy, arts, and music
Upgrade learning environments with permanent equipment and technology
Access grants and community support to keep tuition affordable
Continue building programs that serve the whole child and family
